Role overview

Strategy and partnerships

• Develop and execute medical tourism strategy to attract international patients and drive organizational growth.
• Build partnerships with international healthcare providers, insurers, embassies, government entities, and medical tourism facilitators.
• Identify business opportunities and expand global presence through targeted initiatives and partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to strengthen market positioning.

Patient services and operations

• Lead the end-to-end international patient journey and ensure exceptional patient experience and service excellence.
• Work with clinical, operational, and marketing teams to promote SEHA services in international markets.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations, quality standards, and international patient service requirements.

Leadership and performance

• Develop and manage budgets, business plans, performance metrics, and periodic management reports.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Medical Tourism team to meet strategic objectives and operational standards.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in medical tourism, international patient services, healthcare business development, hospital operations, or healthcare management.
• Proven record of developing, managing, and growing successful medical tourism programs.
• Experience in the Abu Dhabi healthcare sector is highly desirable.

Knowledge and capabilities

• Strong understanding of international patient management, revenue generation, and healthcare marketing strategies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, business development, and communication skills.
