We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Head of Information Technology (IT)
to lead and manage the IT function of Dubai Insurance Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization's technology strategy, ensuring operational excellence, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance while supporting business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the management of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Oversee cybersecurity, information security, data protection, and business continuity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage core insurance systems, digital platforms, and technology vendors.
- Drive digital transformation projects, automation initiatives, and technology innovation.
- Lead IT governance, risk management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience within the insurance, financial services, or regulated industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.
- Experience managing large-scale technology projects and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with insurance core systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, AWS, Azure, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
