Job Description
The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic financial planning of the organization.
This role manages budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and financial risk assessment while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Manage audits, financial controls, and risk management procedures.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership on business planning and investment decisions.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Build relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CFA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
