🌿 Head of Green Coffee Division | China (Nanjing / Shanghai)

Full-time | On-site | Green Coffee Trading / B2B

We are Sixth Sense Executive Search, and we are partnering with an international group of companies to find a senior leader for their green coffee division in China — a role that sits at the intersection of commodity trading, B2B sales, and market development.

The Head of Green Coffee Division will be responsible for building and expanding green coffee sales across China — managing the local team, sourcing buyers, overseeing import operations, and developing long-term B2B partnerships.

— Develop and expand green coffee sales across China

— Build and manage B2B relationships with producers, HoReCa clients, restaurant groups, distributors, coffee chains, and industrial buyers

— Identify new market opportunities and sales channels

— Negotiate commercial agreements and long-term supply partnerships

*Green Coffee Trading*

— Manage green coffee sourcing and procurement processes

— Work with international suppliers, exporters, and producers

— Lead commercial negotiations on price, quality, and contract terms

— Coordinate coffee portfolio strategy in line with market demand

*China Operations*

— Oversee import and supply chain processes for green coffee in China

— Coordinate with the local team and operational partners

— Ensure smooth execution of logistics and deliveries

What we’re looking for:

— 5+ years in coffee (Green coffee experience is NOT mandatory): trading, sourcing, import/export

— Strong B2B and international supply chain experience

— Solid understanding of coffee trade and market dynamics

— Experience in the China / Asia market is a strong advantage

Languages — all three required:

🔹 Russian — professional working proficiency

🔹 English — professional working proficiency

🔹 Mandarin Chinese — average working proficiency

— Existing network in the coffee industry (roasters, HoReCa, distributors)

— Prior leadership or business management experience

— Current location in China is not mandatory — relocation to Shanghai will be supported from company side.
