Reports to: CFO and Managing Director Investments
Role summary
Lead group treasury, capital and market‑facing activities and build a fixed‑income trading and securities dealing capability.
Own liquidity, capital adequacy and balance‑sheet strategy while driving capital markets execution, funding programmes and institutional investor engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Treasury and balance sheet: Manage group liquidity, cash flow, capital allocation and funding mix; ensure capital adequacy across entities.
- Capital markets and funding: Lead debt, structured funding and issuance activity; support delivery of a €5bn issuance programme.
- Trading platform build: Define operating model, governance and infrastructure for a fixed‑income trading and securities dealing platform (ADGM, Mauritius).
- Banking and investor relationships: Build and manage relationships with banks, custodians, institutional investors and trading counterparties.
- Deal execution: Support transaction structuring, funding strategy and execution alongside senior leadership.
- Risk and governance: Own treasury risk frameworks (liquidity, FX, IR, counterparty) and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Infrastructure and reporting: Implement treasury systems, forecasting, liquidity management and accurate monthly reporting.
Experience
- and skills required
- Minimum 18 years in treasury, capital markets, finance or investment banking.
- Proven track record in liquidity, funding, capital adequacy and debt issuance.
- Deep technical knowledge of fixed income, FX, derivatives and structured products.
- Experience building or scaling trading desks or market‑facing platforms and working with multi‑jurisdictional regulators (ADGM, Mauritius or similar).
- Strong network with banks, custodians and institutional investors.
- Commercial mindset, hands‑on execution ability and senior stakeholder influence.

- Deliver regulatory readiness and operational trading capability within target timelines.
- Establish diversified funding sources and onboard institutional distribution partners.
- Implement treasury and risk frameworks with zero material breaches.
