Role Overview

Ai Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the Group-wide AI strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term technology vision.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation solutions across business functions.
• Establish enterprise AI governance frameworks, model monitoring standards, explainability practices, and responsible AI policies.
• Identify opportunities where AI and advanced analytics can improve client experience, operational efficiency, risk management, compliance monitoring, and revenue growth.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and tools to maintain competitive advantage within the financial services industry.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered solutions across business, operational, and technology teams.

Data Strategy & Management

• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data as a strategic organizational asset by promoting data-driven decision-making across all business functions.
• Oversee enterprise data architecture, data platforms, data integration, and data lifecycle management.
• Develop scalable frameworks for managing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across the organization.
• Drive enterprise-wide data accessibility, discoverability, and self-service analytics capabilities.

Data Governance & Compliance

• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, quality management, classification, retention, lineage, and access management practices.
• Lead data quality initiatives to improve consistency, reliability, accuracy, and completeness of enterprise data.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, security, and information governance requirements across all jurisdictions.
• Develop governance frameworks for AI models, training data, model risk management, and responsible AI deployment.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Security, and Legal teams to ensure data and AI initiatives meet internal and external regulatory requirements.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Establish enterprise-wide KPI frameworks, performance measurement standards, and executive reporting capabilities.
• Drive advanced analytics initiatives that support commercial, operational, risk, compliance, and customer-focused functions.
• Enable business stakeholders with actionable insights through dashboards, reporting platforms, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Promote data literacy and analytical capabilities across leadership and operational teams.
• Ensure analytics outputs are aligned with strategic business objectives and measurable outcomes.

Data Platform & Architecture Oversight

• Oversee modern data platforms, warehouses, lakes, and cloud-based analytics environments.
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and resilience of enterprise data infrastructure.
• Define standards for data modeling, metadata management, master data management, and enterprise architecture.
• Drive modernization initiatives across the data ecosystem to support future AI and analytics capabilities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across AI, Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Governance functions.
• Partner with executive leadership to align AI and data initiatives with corporate strategy and business priorities.
• Establish governance councils, steering committees, and operating models to support enterprise data and AI initiatives.
• Present strategic roadmaps, governance metrics, AI adoption progress, and data maturity assessments to senior leadership.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, data ownership, and evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience across Data, Analytics, AI, Information Management, or Governance disciplines, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience developing and executing enterprise AI and data strategies within large-scale organizations.
• Strong experience establishing and managing enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.
• Deep understanding of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, master data management, and information governance principles.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide data transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Strong expertise in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, security, regulatory compliance, and governance requirements within highly regulated industries.
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams across AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Governance functions.
• Strong understanding of financial services, brokerage, capital markets, trading platforms, CFDs, Forex, Cryptocurrency, or related industries is highly desirable.

Preferred Profile

• Experience implementing enterprise-scale Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI assistants, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Experience establishing Data Governance Councils, Data Stewardship Programs, and Data Quality Frameworks.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and production AI deployment practices.
• Proven track record of driving enterprise data culture transformation and increasing organizational data maturity.
• Experience operating within global and highly regulated financial environments.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Passion for leveraging AI, data, and governance to drive innovation, operational excellence, and business performance.
