Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations while fostering a high-performance culinary culture.
- Develop, innovate, and execute a seasonal Mediterranean menu that reflects the restaurant’s luxury brand standards.
- Oversee food preparation, portion control, plating, and quality assurance to maintain consistent excellence across all dishes.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in line with local regulations and luxury hospitality protocols.
- Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen efficiency, cost control, and inventory management.
- Train and motivate staff on culinary techniques, presentation standards, and efficiency during high-volume service.
- Keep up-to-date with Mediterranean culinary trends to maintain innovation and competitive advantage.
- Manage vendor relationships, sourcing premium ingredients that meet brand quality and sustainability standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef in luxury hospitality or fine dining, ideally with Mediterranean cuisine expertise.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring and developing kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, menu development, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency under high-volume service conditions.
- Creative flair with a focus on culinary innovation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- International experience is an advantage, particularly in Mediterranean or branded luxury concept restaurants.
