Role Purpose
As an Associate – Growth, you will join the Growth Team within Space42 Smart Solutions, contributing to high-impact strategic, commercial, and financial initiatives across the business unit.
The role combines business plan development (both presentation and financial modeling) with fast-turnaround analytical and strategic support to the COO and CEO, covering areas such as Earth Observation, Smart Mobility, and Artificial Intelligence.
It is an ideal opportunity for ex-MBB consultants or investment banking professionals looking to apply their strategic toolkit in a fast-evolving technology environment at the intersection of space, mobility, and AI.

Space42 Smart Solutions is a leading provider of AI-powered geospatial intelligence and smart mobility solutions in the UAE and beyond.
Its Focus Spans Two Core Domains
- Earth Observation (EO): Covering the full EO value chain, from satellite program design and manufacturing (upstream) to satellite operations and ground segment management (midstream), and data analytics, mapping, and geospatial intelligence (downstream). These capabilities enable actionable insights across government, environmental, and commercial applications.
- Smart Mobility: Development and commercialization of autonomous vehicle technologies and AI-driven mobility platforms, transforming transport, logistics, and urban operations.
- At its core, Smart Solutions fuses space-derived data and AI analytics to deliver decision intelligence to clients across sectors.
Strategic & Business Planning
- Develop detailed business plans for new initiatives and existing programs — including strategic presentations (PowerPoint) and financial models (Excel), which support decision-making and program advocacy
- Support evaluation of growth opportunities across Earth Observation, Smart Mobility, and AI verticals through structured market, competitive, and financial analyses.
- Build investment cases and scenario models to support strategic decisions and ExCom or Board
- Translate strategic initiatives into execution roadmaps, KPIs, and financial outcomes.
- Play a direct or support role in incubation of key growth initiatives
Analytical & Operational Support
- Deliver fast-turnaround analyses and deliverables on high-priority topics driven by the COO or CEO.
- Conduct financial forecasting, valuation, and sensitivity analyses for projects and potential partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Engineering, AI, Mobility) to align operational progress with strategic intent.
- Support the preparation of proposals, memos, and presentations to external partners, government entities, and investors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as an analytical and strategic support partner within the Growth Team, ensuring alignment across Smart Solutions’ initiatives.
- Work with Space42 Group functions (Strategy, Finance, Corporate Development, and Operations) to assess new opportunities and synergies.
- Participate in due diligence and business case preparation for joint ventures, partnerships, and investments relevant to Smart Solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, STEM.
- Master’s degree (MSc/MBA) from a top institution preferred.
Professional Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking / corporate finance, or with Strategy / Growth teams in corporate.
- Proven ability to independently develop business cases, financial models, and strategic presentations.
- Prior exposure to technology, aerospace, AI, or mobility industries preferred.
- Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation, and market analysis.
- Experience in the Middle East region is advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel — able to deliver high-quality materials suitable for senior leadership.
- Solid grounding in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data interpretation.
- Comfort with complex technical or analytical concepts (e.g., AI, EO, or autonomous systems) and ability to translate them into clear business narratives.
Soft Skills
- Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
