The Group Marketing & Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing and brand initiatives across the Group.
This role focuses on AKI brand activities while providing visibility and structure across marketing initiatives taking place within the Group’s businesses.
The position plays a key role in consolidating the Group marketing calendar, maintaining oversight of marketing plans across the businesses and establishing clear frameworks for marketing planning and reporting.
The role also oversees brand governance across the organisation, including the development and implementation of brand guidelines for both new and existing brands to ensure consistency and quality across marketing materials and communications.
In addition, the role supports the execution of major marketing initiatives including brand activations, trade shows, partnerships and key marketing projects that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
Marketing Planning & Coordination
- Consolidate and manage the Group marketing calendar across campaigns, launches and key initiatives
- Maintain oversight of marketing plans across the Group’s businesses to ensure visibility and alignment
- Support the establishment of clear frameworks for marketing planning and reporting
- Track key marketing initiatives and provide visibility across the organisation
Brand Management & Governance
- Maintain governance over brand guidelines across the organisation
- Lead the development and refinement of brand guidelines for both new and existing brands
- Ensure marketing materials and brand communications adhere to established brand standards
- Support businesses in maintaining brand consistency across marketing activities
Brand Activation & Marketing Initiatives
- Plan and execute brand activation initiatives to strengthen AKI’s brand presence
- Coordinate major marketing initiatives including trade shows, exhibitions and launches
- Support the delivery of group marketing projects and brand campaigns
Partnerships
- Identify and support commercial partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility and engagement
- Work with partners to develop collaborative marketing initiatives and activations
Market Insights & Industry Trends
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market and competitor analysis
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators for marketing initiatives and brand activities
- Monitor campaign performance and analyse results to improve marketing effectiveness
- Prepare reports and presentations on marketing activities, performance and insights
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within diversified organisations, consumer brands or multi-brand environments
- Experience coordinating marketing initiatives including campaigns, brand activations, trade shows or events
- Strong understanding of brand management and experience corporate branding.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience coordinating marketing activities across multiple stakeholders and teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Experience in managing a small team
