The National Graduate Trainee Program provides approximately 18 months of training to prepare graduates for a future first-line supervisor role.
The program aims to develop high-potential UAE nationals as future EGA leaders.
Training and development
- Trainees develop practical, leadership, and supervisory skills through on-the-job training, technical development, and management and leadership programs.
- Trainees spend one month learning the functions and responsibilities of sections in their designated department.
- Remaining on-the-job training is geared toward the trainee’s target position; successful completion leads to transition into that position.
- Each trainee has a mentor and regular progress review meetings.
Candidate criteria
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.
- Engineering graduates are preferred; electrical, mechanical, electronics, chemical, and mechatronics disciplines are named.
- Fresh graduates are preferred; candidates with a maximum of 2–3 years of experience are considered.
