The role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and systems using industry-standard CAD software.
- Conduct technical analysis and calculations; use FEA and simulations to validate designs and identify improvements.
- Create technical drawings and documentation to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in project planning and execution to deliver engineering work on time.
- Review manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain project records and design modification documentation.
- Support technical reports and stakeholder presentations; keep current with industry practices and standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Strong organizational, project management, communication, and teamwork abilities; Microsoft Office proficiency.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with FEA tools and simulation software is preferred.
Contract and location
- Permanent contract; entry-level role in Dubai.
