Egis seeks a junior engineer to join its wet utilities team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role is intended for a recent graduate beginning a career in wet utilities engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design and development of water supply, sewage, and drainage networks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning and execution.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor project progress.
- Perform basic wet utilities engineering calculations and analysis.
- Support reports, proposals, and other technical documents.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute process improvement ideas, and stay current on local water regulations and industry practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Academic knowledge of wet utilities systems and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organisational abilities.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of UAE water regulations and standards is advantageous.
- Internships or academic projects related to wet utilities are desirable.
