GIS Substation Design engineer - Primary

Role overview

Primary engineering responsibilities

• Handle customer-interface primary engineering activities.
• Prepare GIS gas single-line diagrams, plans, and section views for customer submission.
• Build GIS substation 3D models using the Primtech A-CAD-based PLM tool.
• Support the order execution team with drawing approvals.
• Prepare construction drawings, earthing proposals, data sheets, and GTPs for customer-specific orders.

Qualifications and experience

• Electrical Engineer with Diploma and 6–8 years, graduate degree and 4–6 years, or master's degree and 2–4 years of work experience.
• Hands-on design and engineering experience in air-insulated or gas-insulated substations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Primtech.
• Sound technical knowledge of Indian and international standards, with experience across multiple substation projects and customer specifications.
