Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for geriatric patients
• Manage complex chronic illnesses and coordinate care to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of aging
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records compliant with healthcare regulations
• Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in geriatric medicine through continuous learning

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine
• Valid and active medical license to practice
• Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in geriatric medicine or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of age-related illnesses and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Committed to lifelong learning and adherence to ethical medical practice
