Clinical Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage follow-up care.
- Request and interpret laboratory and radiological investigations.
- Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Refer patients to specialists when required.
- Provide preventive healthcare and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi standards and clinical guidelines.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and the insurance department regarding approvals and patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities.
- Attend departmental meetings and mandatory training sessions.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain an active DOH Abu Dhabi License.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Maintain a high standard of patient satisfaction and quality care.
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Active DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility Letter.
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Good Communication Skill.
