Clinical Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Perform general dental procedures, including:
- Dental fillings
- Tooth extractions
- Scaling and polishing
- Root canal treatment
- Crown and bridge procedures
- Denture treatment
- Preventive and restorative dentistry
- Interpret dental radiographs and other diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and infection control standards.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate treatment.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete medical records and treatment notes accurately.
- Obtain informed consent before procedures.
- Coordinate with reception and insurance departments regarding approvals and treatment estimates.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Attend departmental meetings and training programs.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain an active DOH License.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Promote patient satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS/DMD) from a recognized institution.
- Active DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility Letter.
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
