Lead the wider team at O2 Ritz Manchester and manage day-to-day business and operational functions.

- The role is based at O2 Ritz Manchester.
Working Hours
- The role is full time and requires flexibility for weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
About You
- Successful background in live entertainment or venue management.
- Experience as a manager or in a high-volume venue operational role.
- Proven experience managing live performances and club events.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing.
- Experience managing a large team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Understanding of live event booking and promotion.
- Strong control of operating costs and budgeting.
- Personal licence holder.
- Strong client and customer service, leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
What You Will Do
- Manage operations and meet company business objectives.
- Program the venue diary to maximize events and revenue.
- Act as first contact for contracted events and develop client relationships.
- Implement business strategies and generate new commercial opportunities.
- Duty manage events and meet or exceed annual budgets.
- Complete reporting and manage forecasting, budgeting, and expenditure.
- Oversee licensing administration, risk assessments, due diligence, and legal compliance.
- Maintain venue standards and direct urgent building repairs.
- Develop venue capital and revenue projects with the wider head office team.
- Support employee training and appraisals, increase productivity, and represent the venue professionally.
