Role Overview

Business Operations and Execution

• Manage day-to-day business operations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient execution of approved business plans and priorities.
• Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans, milestones, and measurable KPIs.
• Establish clear workflows, accountability structures, and performance-monitoring processes.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of business initiatives.

Commercial Growth and Business Development

• Drive customer acquisition, transaction growth, and achievement of approved commercial targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, institutional investors, real estate developers, brokers, property sellers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and partnership execution within delegated authority.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with key commercial partners and ensure effective collaboration.
• Develop partnership plans with clear business objectives, deliverables, and performance indicators.
• Coordinate with the CEO and Treasury and Investment teams on funding partnerships and capital-provider relationships.
• Represent Soar in business meetings and industry events when delegated.
• Ensure partnership commitments are delivered in line with approved agreements and internal policies.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance

• Ensure day-to-day business activities operate within applicable licenses, regulatory approvals, and permitted scope of activities.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to support regulatory obligations.
• Maintain operational records, reporting processes, and internal controls.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits, remediation plans, and licensing milestones.
• Escalate material regulatory, compliance, operational, or reputational risks to the CEO promptly.

Operational Performance and Customer Experience

• Oversee customer-facing and financing-related operational processes within the approved operating model.
• Monitor turnaround times, service quality, customer complaints, and operational service levels.
• Implement process improvements to simplify the customer journey and enhance transparency.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize operational requirements and resolve recurring issues.
• Establish regular reporting on operational performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Financial and Performance Management

• Manage the Saudi business operating budget within approved limits.
• Monitor business performance, operating expenses, revenue targets, and key financial indicators.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and forecasts for the CEO.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, resource utilization, and unit economics.
• Ensure spending and commercial commitments comply with approved budgets and delegated authority.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Lead, coach, and develop the Saudi operations and commercial teams.
• Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and individual KPIs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of high-performing employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with People and HR teams on workforce planning and organizational development.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Credit, Risk, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Treasury teams.
• Track execution of cross-functional initiatives and resolve operational dependencies.
• Provide structured feedback from customers, partners, and frontline teams to improve products and processes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in business operations, commercial management, or general management.
• Demonstrated experience in fintech, banking, financial services, real estate finance, or a related industry.
• Proven track record of executing business plans, managing teams, and delivering measurable operational or commercial results.
• Strong understanding of business operations and the Saudi market.
• Experience managing strategic partnerships and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people-management capabilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Preferred: experience in a Saudi fintech, financial institution, mortgage-finance company, or real estate business.
• Preferred: familiarity with the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulatory environment and experience in a regulated or high-growth technology-enabled business.
