Seeking an experienced General Accountant for FMCG, food trading, or distribution accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily AP, AR, GL, bank, and cash transactions.
- Prepare bank, supplier, customer, and GL reconciliations.
- Handle UAE VAT, VAT returns and reconciliations, and FTA requirements.
- Assist with Corporate Tax accounting and compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing.
- Manage inventory accounting, purchases, sales, COGS, credit notes, and stock adjustments.
- Support audits and maintain financial documentation.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse, HR, and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of UAE accounting experience; UAE experience is mandatory.
- FMCG, food trading, or distribution experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, FTA requirements, Corporate Tax, and UAE accounting practices.
- Good Excel and accounting software/ERP skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hindi.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work independently.
