Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Doha, Qatar for a General Accountant.
The General Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, conducting financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Additional tasks include preparing budgets, processing invoices, and assisting in audits.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and budget management
- Experience with accounting software and tools
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage
