General Accountant
About This Role
Job Summary:
The General Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The role requires hands-on experience with the Odoo ERP system to efficiently handle accounting processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Record financial transactions and ensure proper documentation in the Odoo system
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets
- Handle invoicing, payments, and collections through Odoo
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting databases
- Support financial analysis and management reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Accountant
- Strong experience with Odoo ERP system (Accounting module is a must)
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good communication and organizational skills
