Technical Designer And Garment Technologist

Fit & Fit Development

• Own fit development across product categories (Men’s, Women’s Kid’s Accessories etc..)
• We are looking for a Technologist experienced in any of the above categories to join our team
• Conduct fit sessions on live models, dress forms, or 3D systems.
• Analyse fit issues and propose clear, technically sound solutions.
• Approve fit samples and ensure grading consistency across size ranges.

Technical Specifications & Documentation

• Create and maintain detailed tech packs including: Measurements and grading,
• Construction details, Stitch types and seam finishes, Fabric, elastic, and trim
• specifications
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Manage sample comments, revisions, and approvals through each development stage.

Construction & Quality Assurance

• Ensure lingerie products meet brand guidelines for comfort, support, durability, and
• appearance.
• Partner with QA teams to resolve fit, quality, and construction issues during
• development and production.

Collaboration & Vendor Communication

• Work closely with Design to preserve design intent while ensuring functional fit.
• Partner with Buying and Merchandising to align technical execution with cost and
• margin targets.
• Communicate clear technical feedback to suppliers and factories.
• Support vendor onboarding and capability assessment where required.

Critical Path & Production Support

• Manage fit and sample approvals within critical path timelines.
• Review pre-production samples and provide production readiness approvals.
• Support bulk production by resolving technical or quality challenges quickly.

System & Process Management

• Maintain technical data in PLM or product systems.
• Track fit approval statuses and sample progress.
• Support continuous improvement of fit standards, blocks, and sizing frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in

Fashion Design

• or a related field.
• **3+ years of experience**
• as a Technical Designer, Garment Technologist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of
• fit development, grading, garment construction, and tech packs
• .
• Experience conducting
• fit sessions
• and working with suppliers/factories.
• Familiarity with
• PLM systems
