Six-month, on-site game development internship for students or recent graduates.
Monthly stipend of AED 1,500.
The internship may convert to a full-time role depending on performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement high-quality Unity applications with the studio team.
- Establish an effective strategy and development pipeline.
- Create and rapidly iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and interaction patterns.
- Ensure application and game performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify process and application bottlenecks and implement timely solutions.
- Handle projects with minimal supervision.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience in Unity 3D content development and strong C# object-oriented programming ability.
- Experience with game assets, including meshes, animations, and materials, and with Unity plugins.
- Experience profiling and optimizing GPU and CPU game and render performance.
- Must know how to create a database in Unity; understanding of UX and UI in Unity applications.
- Ability to identify errors, troubleshoot, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with UDP and TCP protocols.
- Interest in AR or VR is preferred.
- Experience with a physics-based game project or tools such as Git in a multi-developer team environment.
