Work with consultants and manufacturers to implement SEVEN maintenance processes and pre- and post-opening technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations and project attraction teams, project management consultants, and ride manufacturers; manage ride and device technical requirements during implementation.
- Apply international safety practices and coordinate with KSA authorities and regulators.
- Support maintenance strategy in line with each complex's business operations plan; review concept, schematic, and detailed design packages against SEVEN protocols.
- Evaluate contractors, specialist suppliers, service providers, certified spare-parts distributors, and trading companies.
- Work with QHSE to develop and implement ISO systems and certifications.
- Develop planned and corrective maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, task completion and KPI tracking, ride certification, and emergency evacuation compliance.
- Manage calibration and certification schedules, technical-team competency and training, spare-parts availability, and ride modifications with manufacturers and IB.
- Manage asset-system uploads, ride readiness and reliability, QHSE and sustainability compliance, and O&M and technical bulletins.
- Develop and review technical documents, manuals, troubleshooting guides, evacuation procedures, PM checklists, and REHAB and NDT schedules; produce monthly operational reports.
- Develop and monitor operational budgets, including CAPEX and pre-opening expenses, and deliver departmental objectives, action plans, and KPIs.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least eight years of experience in the leisure and attractions industry; theme park experience is preferred.
- Experience with attraction rides, wind tunnels, dark rides, climbing walls, e-karting, and playground systems.
- Proven experience in theme park or FEC ride maintenance and certification processes.
- Strong knowledge of roller coaster maintenance, rehabilitation, certification, evacuation procedures, and LOTO.
- Familiarity with EN 13814 and ASTM F24 ride standards.
Leadership and language skills
- Strong written and spoken English is required; Arabic is preferable.
- The role calls for interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, leadership, strategy implementation, time-management, and cultural-awareness skills.
