The role involves diverse technologies and collaborative projects.
Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and C.
- Implement responsive frontend features with modern frameworks and libraries.
- Develop and optimize server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions using SQL, MySQL, and other relational databases.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan development cycles, and deliver software on schedule.
- Manage code with GitHub and SVN; integrate AWS or Azure cloud services for deployment, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation; use Linux for deployment and maintenance and VBA for automation when appropriate.
- Stay current with RESTful APIs, application frameworks, and cloud platforms.
Experience and qualifications
- Proven full-stack software development experience and a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- JavaScript proficiency; React or Angular experience is described as highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with server-side languages including Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, or C++.
- Database familiarity with systems such as MySQL or SQL Server is described as essential.
- AWS or Azure deployment experience is preferred; knowledge of Git or SVN and RESTful API design is sought.
- Ability to work in Linux environments and manage application deployments; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay
- Pay is listed as £33,752.29–£89,745.10 per year.
