Serve as the first point of contact for customers at Kal Tire's store, helping them select products and services and keeping service activity moving.
This is a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and answer product and service inquiries; prepare quotes and explain options to support sales decisions.
- Conduct outdoor vehicle check-ins in all weather, recording mileage, tire condition, and service details.
- Use internal systems to find parts, prices, and availability; prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
- Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain customer records.
- Keep the workplace clean, organized, and safe, and coordinate with shop staff for a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous customer service and sales experience.
- Automotive interest; tire or basic vehicle knowledge and parts lookup are assets.
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and a practical, customer-first approach; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- A valid driver's license is an asset.
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds as needed; team-oriented and committed to safe work.
Compensation
- Hourly wage is $18.86.
Schedule
- Shifts are scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
- Listed operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work location
- Store position at the listed Calgary, Alberta location; vehicle check-ins take place outdoors in all weather.
