Front Counter Sales Representative

Role overview

Location and work setting

• Store location: 42 Isnor Dr, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
• Work involves indoor customer service and outdoor vehicle check-ins in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries.
• Prepare quotes, explain options, and support sales decisions.
• Check in vehicles outdoors, recording mileage, tire condition, and service details.
• Use internal systems to look up parts, pricing, and availability.
• Prepare invoices, process transactions, answer calls, book appointments, and maintain customer records.
• Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe; coordinate with the shop team.

Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills, a customer-first approach, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as required; team-oriented and committed to safety.
• Automotive interest or knowledge and a valid driver's license are assets.

Compensation and training

• Hourly wage is $18.91.
• Hands-on training and a supportive, safety-focused team environment are offered.

Store hours and training

• Store hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30–18:00, and Saturday, 8:00–17:00.
• Multiple training dates start September 14, 2026; shifts are scheduled within operating hours and may include weekends.
