Supports fraud prevention projects and the effectiveness of fraud risk management processes through operational and analytical work.
Helps identify and assess fraud risks using appropriate tools and techniques.
Fraud risk duties
- Perform assigned activities in line with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Analyze transactions, systems, and activities to identify or prevent suspicious and fraudulent activity.
- Assess fraud prevention tools and products with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to fraud control plans, strategies, risk reporting, and assessment across business lines.
- Track corrective actions and analyze controls, processes, and procedures to reduce fraud exposure.
- Support fraud operations, awareness, training, investigation responses, and remediation.
- Contribute to bank-wide fraud management systems and tools and research emerging techniques.
- Identify ways to strengthen anti-fraud controls and mitigate emerging risks, including those tied to products, regulation, and significant processes.
Education and experience
- University graduate with a degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or another related discipline.
- A related master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Five to eight years of total experience in financial services or banking in a related discipline.
- Experience in fraud investigation and fraud risk management within financial services.
- Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
