FP&A Manager - Costs

Role overview

What you will do

• Lead cost reporting at month end and contribute to long-term financial and strategic planning and budgeting.
• Support process efficiency and effectiveness, including implementing new system solutions.
• Provide timely, commercially focused financial commentary, identify risks and issues, and work with stakeholders on solutions.
• Contribute to board and Exco papers, investor packs and similar materials, driving business strategy and influencing at multiple levels.
• Partner with budget owners, Procurement, Business Intelligence Reporting and wider Finance colleagues to deliver accurate financial insight.
• Use data to identify business drivers and support and challenge stakeholders’ strategic decisions.

What you will need

• Demonstrable experience in FP&A, decision support and/or business partnering.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and preparing reporting packs.
• Excellent understanding of managing complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, develop recommendations and drive solutions proactively and autonomously.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Understand risks associated with the role and their implications for the bank and its stakeholders.
