FP&A Analyst

Role overview

Commercial finance

• Track revenue growth, pricing, promotions, incentives, and margin performance; define and explain commercial KPIs.
• Identify performance risks and opportunities, recommend corrective actions, and evaluate initiatives for viability, ROI, and payback.
• Translate financial analysis into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership; analyze discount impact and contribution margins.

Planning and performance

• Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans focused on revenue, contribution margin, and commercial KPIs.
• Build driver-based models for initiatives, campaigns, and pricing strategies.
• Analyze revenue streams, unit economics, discounts, incentives, and customer profitability; prepare monthly variance reviews.

Reporting and analysis

• Develop management reports, dashboards, and commercial scorecards, ensuring accuracy and consistency across finance systems and business reports.
• Support strategic initiatives such as expansion, products, partnerships, and promotions; perform ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A experience.
• Strong understanding of revenue models, unit economics, take-rate, and margin drivers.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with large, messy datasets.
• Knowledge of restaurant economics, pricing, promotion mechanics, and customer incentives.

Preferred tools and experience

• Enterprise planning tools such as TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics or similar, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, are a plus.
• Experience turning large, complex datasets into actionable commercial insights is a bonus.
