Job objective
Prepare and analyze budgets and rolling forecasts on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, including business financial models.
Monthly analysis and closing
- Analyze assigned areas monthly, including chilled water, corporate overheads, and finance costs.
- Liaise with Accounts for month-end and period-end closing.
- Submit analysis and reporting on time.
Budgeting and forecasting
- Develop budget templates and prepare, compile, analyze, discuss, and finalize departmental budgets, including capital budgets.
- Update and monitor budgets using SAP and SAC.
- Prepare, consolidate, and finalize forecasts with relevant stakeholders.
Assets, inventory, and cost control
- Analyze monthly and periodic depreciation, including capital expenditure, and reconcile it with SAP.
- Analyze inventory aging and opportunities to optimize inventory costs.
- Analyze overheads and costs and establish cost-control mechanisms.
Policies and HSE
- Follow relevant policies, processes, SOPs, and operational instructions; develop SOPs and policies and support compliance audits.
- Support health, safety, and environmental policy compliance and report safety incidents and near misses.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce.
- At least five years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, primarily in FP&A, in a large or complex organization.
