Forward Deployed AI Engineer - Senior Manager

Role description

Key responsibilities

• Own account-level AI transformation from platform selection and architecture through enterprise-wide adoption.
• Be accountable for deployment outcomes, including time-to-value, reliability, adoption and ROI, reporting to client executive leadership.
• Translate executive strategy into production AI systems and define enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• Work with client CTO, CFO and CISO on investment strategy, board-level narrative and multi-year reinvention roadmaps.
• Develop reusable patterns and playbooks; lead executive workshops, board engagements and architecture reviews.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.
• 10–15 years of cloud-native engineering experience, including APIs, microservices, containers and serverless architectures.
• At least one year designing and deploying agentic solutions in production; at least seven years working with AI platforms.
• Experience building abstraction layers for multi-provider AI pipelines and leading software engineering teams for 10–15 years.
• Experience with client-embedded enterprise AI deployment, enterprise architecture standards, executive stakeholders and workshops.
• Experience developing reusable deployment frameworks or playbooks and contributing to engineering standards or capability frameworks.

Compensation

• The stated annual salary range is CAD 142,050 to CAD 292,000 for British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick.
• Compensation varies based on office location, role, skill set and experience; the range is a guideline and may be exceeded.
