Formulation Operator

Job Title: Formulation Operator Location: Kettering Salary: Competitive/ Benefits include pension, private healthcare, income protection etc We currently have an opportunity for a Formulation Operator. The function of a Formulation Operator is to oversee the blending (formulation) process of the semi-finished product so planned work continues in a safe and productive manner. You will be required to follow-up on transport on inbound/outbound delivery of products. Maintain food safety and process quality and yield standards. Start-up and shutdown the manufacturing plant. Able to read and understand P&IDs and trace process lines. Conduct regular stock takes. You will be required to record production statistics, monitor equipment operation and record accurate information on a daily basis. About You You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, be able to prioritise, solve technical and complex problems and be able to work nights and weekends. The following qualifications/skills are required: GCSE standard or equivalent Be able to communicate in written and verbal English Experience in working in food manufacturing environment Have an awareness of food allergen and basic food hygiene Working knowledge of IT systems such as MS Office Desirable FLT licence HACCP trained COSHH trained Conversant with CIP (Clean In Place) processes About Us This Role Offers: You will be joining a dynamic, winning team, with a keen focus on delivering in the safest way possible. You will be responsible for the safe operation and troubleshooting of the facility’s equipment and instruments. Close working relationships between the Steriliser Operator and other production functions are integral to the success of this role. You will become conversant with internal processes and structures such as IWS, MES and using SQCDME Key Performance Indicators as a measure of success.
