Forklift Operator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to designated locations.
• Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Perform routine forklift checks, including battery, fuel, tires, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure materials are handled without damage and stored correctly.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory control activities.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials according to work orders or shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and equipment inspections.
• Follow warehouse procedures, traffic rules, and safety regulations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or construction environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.

Working Conditions
