The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that offloading put away, picking and packing processes for inbound and outbound operations are performed efficiently and in a safe manner so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operate MHE equipment in a responsible manner whilst observing all safety measures during process of operation.
Responsibilities
+ Operating the forklift in a proper manner and ensuring that no accidents / damages are caused due to negligent driving.
+ Ensuring that the forklift is optimally utilized and regularly maintained.
+ Carrying out daily inspection of equipment prior to usage to ensure that the equipment is safe to be operated and reporting any discrepancy to the supervisor immediately.
+ Ensuring to stop operation of equipment at any given time in the event of malfunction.
+ Reporting accidents immediately to the supervisor.
+ Following instructions from the supervisor during Loading and Downloading material whilst observing HSE policies and procedures.
+ Preparing material for outbound.
+ Ensuring that the materials are stacked accurately assuring safe and proper placement.
+ Reporting damages immediately to the supervisor while performing duty.
+ Elevating potential problems, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement of operation to the supervisor.
+ Performing any other related duties/projects assigned by Supervisor from time to time to meet business exigencies.
Education
– High School
Work Experience
– 2 years forklift experience in UAE
