About Your Team
Our team is focused on delivering high-quality project work through strong coordination and teamwork.
We work closely across site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution while supporting each other to achieve project goals.
Your Role
- As a Foreman - Senior, you will
- Lead and coordinate daily site activities across multiple teams and work zones.
- Supervise and support Foremen and Junior Foremen to ensure consistent performance.
- Oversee short-term planning and execution in line with project schedules.
- Ensure safe working practices and full compliance with ALEC’s HSE policies.
- Monitor productivity and drive improvements in efficiency and resource use.
- Maintain quality standards through regular inspections and corrective follow-up.
- Support development of junior staff through guidance and technical oversight.
- Review and validate material requirements, ensuring timely availability on site.
- Coordinate site logistics, access, and sequencing to reduce downtime and disruption.
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior site management as required.
- Ensure alignment across all work fronts and promote cross-team collaboration.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.
Skills And Competencies
- First Aider certification
- Able to lead & coordinate large, multi-disciplinary site teams
- Plans effectively & manages shifting site priorities
- Interprets drawings & specifications with confidence
- Ensures safety, environmental, & conduct compliance
- Coaches’ teams’ & manages performance constructively
- Experienced in material planning & site productivity
- Makes sound decisions & solves problems under pressure
- Communicates clearly across all site levels
- Reliable, proactive, & solution-focused with sound judgment
- Experienced in QA/QC procedures, permit-to-work systems & site inspections
- Knowledge of local authority regulations & standards
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members & lead small-scale training or briefing sessions.
- Knowledge of local authority regulations & standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or
- 7+ years experience
