About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Safety Auditor who will assist in ensuring that all food safety regulations and standards are met within the organization. This role involves monitoring food production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing safety protocols to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of food production areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of food safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and document food handling practices to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Collect and analyze samples for microbiological and chemical testing.
- Assist in training staff on food safety practices and protocols.
- Investigate and report on food safety incidents and non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Support the Food Safety team in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.
- Stay updated on current food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
