The Stock Controller is expected to oversee storage locations inside and outside their outlet ensuring ingredient safekeeping, to apply FSM standards correctly at all times while monitoring stock movement, to prepare purchase orders, oversee receiving, storage, transfers, etc. and to maintain an objective business relationship with vendors.

✓ To prepare Purchase Orders for local suppliers, ensuring stocks are available at all times and adherent to set PAR levels for the outlet and/or warehouse.

✓ To communicate orders to vendors and follow up regarding delivery dates and times.

✓ To oversee receiving and make sure items delivered match the Purchase Order + Invoice in terms of quantity, brand, specifications, shelf life and price.

✓ To report back any issues related to stock availability, deliveries, prices, etc. and ensure the correct departments/personnel are notified for any action needed, with proper routine follow up.

✓ To ensure the outlet Storerooms are organized, clean, zoned, follow FEFO and are stocked as per PAR level standards.

✓ Take an active part in the establishing and maintaining and updating of PAR levels based on consumption, fast/slow moving, and storage area criteria.

✓ To oversee store to store transfers, initiating systematic outgoing movement, coordinating logistic transition, overseeing physical picking/packing, and monitoring dispatch and document handover, updating transfer status as needed.

✓ To implement incoming transfers, physically verify quantities received, shelf life, and specifications, and systematically process the stock update.

✓ To process Wastage entries in the system daily and accurately, issue Wastage statistics and highlight non compliances.

✓ To process Prep entries in the system daily and accurately, issue Prep statistics and highlight non-compliances.

✓ To oversee Warehouse Stock Movement files and ensure stocks are updated systematically and via alternate tools (Excel, etc.).

✓ To conduct spot visits and counts to the Warehouse, ensuring safe and zoned storage, and sharing variance reports and maintenance summaries.

✓ To oversee Mass Stock receiving, ensuring quantities received match those ordered / invoiced, and that damages or variances are reported and corrective action taken.

✓ To ensure direct contact with Vendors is constant via general communication channels (Emails / Groups / etc.), and attempt to improve on the stock status by requesting quotations, challenging price increases, brand changes, specification changes and UOM variances.
