Qualifications
- · Experience in flooring sales, flooring installation, retail sales, or a related customer-focused environment preferred
- · Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- · Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- · High attention to detail and organizational skills
- · Ability to lift to 55 lbs.
- · Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends
- · Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders
- · Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- · Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge
- · Understand customers' needs and recommend the best solutions for their projects
- · Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and flooring products
- · Take initiative and confidently lead customer interactions
- · Produce quotes, material lists, and follow-up on sales opportunities
- · Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service
- · Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- · Continually learn about products, installation methods, and market trends
