Experienced Floor Supervisor joining the front-of-house team at Be Babel The Palm, a premium dining venue in Dubai.
Hands-on role supporting refined service standards, anticipating guest needs, and motivating the service team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role within fine dining or high-end restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of wine and luxury service standards.
- Fluent Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate floor operations during service to ensure smooth and efficient flow.
- Maintain service, etiquette, grooming, and presentation standards in line with luxury brand expectations.
- Lead, train, and motivate waitstaff, ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Engage with guests, handle enquiries and feedback, and resolve complaints professionally and discreetly.
- Ensure VIP guests and regular patrons receive personalised and memorable service.
- Monitor table turns, reservations, seating plans, and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and host teams.
- Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and SOP standards at all times.
- Assist management with daily briefings, shift reports, and performance feedback.
- Support upselling initiatives and ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus, wine, and promotions.
