The Floor Manager coordinates the team, owns the guest experience, and ensures shifts run smoothly from the first cover to the last goodbye.
Candidate profile
- 1–2 years in a supervisory or front-of-house managerial role in a premium or high-volume restaurant.
- English is required.
- French, another European language, or Arabic is an added advantage.
Role impacts
- Handle guest concerns calmly, turn situations around, and follow up on feedback.
- Brief, train, and motivate the team daily; maintain standards and support staff growth.
- Know the menu and drinks and ensure the team does too.
- Oversee the floor, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and manage service flow.
- Maintain mise en place, table settings, cleanliness, shift planning, and brand presentation.
- Stay calm, solve problems proactively, and know when to act or escalate.
