The Floor Manager is the heartbeat of the floor: leading, inspiring, and making service look effortless.
Coordinates the floor team, owns the guest experience, and ensures every shift runs smoothly.
Experience and Profile
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or front-of-house managerial role in a premium or high-volume restaurant.
- English is a must.
- French or another European language, or Arabic, is even better.
- Charismatic, composed, and fair.
Impacts
- Guest Satisfaction: set the standard for guest treatment, handle concerns calmly, and follow up on feedback.
- Mentoring & Leadership: lead by example, brief, train, and motivate the team daily.
- Product Knowledge: know the menu, drinks, and story behind what is served and ensure the team does too.
- Restaurant Operations: oversee the full floor, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and manage service flow.
- Execute High Standards: mise en place, table settings, cleanliness, shift planning, and brand presentation.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: stay calm, find solutions, and know when to act or escalate.
Reporting and Flexibility
Reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Role may grow as Le Café LPM grows; flexibility is part of the culture.
Team members may be asked to support another department when the business needs it.
