The Fleet Officer manages a fleet of small vehicles and trucks for Masarat Aljood for Commercial Services.
The role tracks vehicle use, schedules trips, prepares transport documents (Bayaan), maintains records, and supports compliant, efficient fleet operations.
Daily operations and compliance
- Track daily vehicle and truck trips, start and end times, trip duration, routing, and compliance.
- Follow up on traffic police reports (Bayaan), speeding tickets, and complaints when necessary.
- Monitor Ministry of Transport and General Authority of Transport updates and implement applicable standards and traffic rules.
Maintenance, fuel, and records
- Conduct periodic vehicle inspections and ensure annual renewal of truck operation cards.
- Manage fuel supply records and quantities by vehicle, and analyze consumption for deviations.
- Track odometer readings and schedule engine oil and filter changes and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain and renew vehicle insurance, tickets, driver licenses, and other vehicle documents.
Vehicle handover and incident response
- Hand vehicles to employees after checking documents and condition; receive returned vehicles and conduct required inspections.
- Record accidents and maintenance activities and serve as the primary contact for vehicle accidents and breakdowns.
Reporting
- Submit weekly vehicle-movement analysis reports, track usage patterns, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional logistics or transportation management qualifications are advantageous.
- Fleet management or related experience is required, with one year of logistics experience specified as required.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and relevant transport authorities' regulations is required.
- A valid driving license is required.
Skills and languages
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and GPS is required.
- Arabic fluency and good English for technical communication are required.
- The role calls for organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and emergency-response skills, as well as attention to detail and deadline management.
Compensation
- Monthly salary is SAR 2,500.
