Fit-Out Site Engineer

Position overview

Site execution and coordination

• Manage and supervise site activities throughout fit-out projects; coordinate work teams and monitor daily progress.
• Plan and supervise civil works, flooring, ceilings, partitions, wall cladding, joinery, painting, and final finishing.
• Ensure work follows approved shop drawings, specifications, material approvals, and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, technicians, workers, project managers, consultants, main contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor manpower, material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment; resolve site issues and propose practical solutions.
• Track schedule progress, inspect workmanship, control quality, enforce safety, and maintain an organized site.
• Prepare daily site reports and records; manage snagging, rectification, testing, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant interior fit-out experience, including independent management and supervision of full site execution.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, and wall finishes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Leadership, site management, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple activities.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Qatar and take ownership of progress, quality, and execution.

Workplace

• The position is fully based on-site in Qatar and requires full-time on-site presence.
