Job Overview
Prepare material, labor, and subcontractor cost estimates for commercial, retail, and residential interior fit-out projects.
Analyze drawings and specifications, obtain vendor quotations, and develop detailed competitive cost estimation and BOQ proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural and interior design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to determine scope of work.
- Perform detailed material take-offs and measurements for woodwork, joinery, MEP, flooring, ceilings, and finishes.
- Request, evaluate, and negotiate competitive pricing from subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities and detailed project cost estimates.
- Collaborate with Design and Project Management teams to identify value engineering and cost-saving alternatives.
- Monitor cost fluctuations, track historical cost data, and assist in post-tender negotiations with clients.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,800 to AED 2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a fit-out estimator or in a comparable interior fit-out cost estimation role.
- Ability to analyze architectural and interior design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope.
- Ability to perform material take-offs and measurements for woodwork, joinery, MEP, flooring, ceilings, and finishes.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities and detailed project cost estimates.
