The employer seeks an experienced Fit-Out Draftsman to join its team in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural, interior fit-out, and joinery shop drawings.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and setting-out drawings.
- Detail ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, doors, furniture, and joinery works.
- Prepare as-built drawings from completed site works; take measurements and quantities from approved drawings and BOQs.
- Coordinate drawings with site engineers, project managers, the joinery factory, and production teams.
- Review drawings for technical discrepancies; make revisions to meet consultant, client, and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with approved designs and project specifications; maintain drawing, revision, and submission records.
- Assist the site team with drawing requirements and coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to avoid clashes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Fit-Out Draftsman.
- Strong UAE experience in interior fit-out and construction projects is preferred.
- Excellent AutoCAD knowledge and a strong understanding of architectural and interior fit-out drawings.
- Experience with shop, detail, setting-out, and as-built drawings.
- Knowledge of joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, and interior materials.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and technical drawings; good knowledge of measurements, quantities, and BOQs.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
