Qualifications

  • First Cook experience in a banquet or remote camp environment.
  • Certificate from a recognized cooking school or Red Seal Certification is an asset.
  • Food Safety Certification required.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Position Requirements

  • Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Shift: 10hr/day
  • Rotation: 21 Days on/7 Days off

  • The hourly wage for this position is $25.75. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
