Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Protection Systems Engineer located in Abu Dhabi.
The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing fire protection and fire suppression systems for various projects.
Day-to-day tasks include evaluating fire safety plans, conducting fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and collaborating on fire system modeling and reporting.
The engineer will also support inspections, audits, and liaise with UAE Civil Defence as needed.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Suppression Systems
- Knowledge and experience in Life Safety and Fire Safety practices
- Proficiency in Safety Engineering principles
- Strong understanding of regional fire safety regulations and compliance standards, particularly in UAE
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and competence in fire systems design and technical drawing reviews
- Experience with fire modeling, computational fluid dynamics, and evacuation planning
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders
- Professional certifications in fire safety and engineering are highly desirable
