Finance team
Join the Riyadh finance team, which supports offices across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The financial accounting team works with local external accountants on accounting and reporting, close, reconciliations, statutory filings, and regional compliance.
The role reports to the Financial Manager and works with the Finance Team, external advisors, auditors, the ME Finance Director, and the wider business.
Role responsibilities
- Complete monthly close, prepare and post journals, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review quarterly intercompany reconciliations and invoicing, coordinating timely settlement with Treasury.
- Prepare and reconcile local statutory and management accounts; investigate differences between local GAAP and management accounts.
- Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, local accountants, and internal finance teams.
- Support audits and timely filing of financial statements, corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and other fiscal returns.
- Support Local Content (KSA) and In-Country Value compliance and filing requirements across the Middle East.
- Support new ERP integration through testing and data review; improve workflows using ERP functionality and best practices.
- Assist with financial statements, cost allocation, and ad hoc projects while maintaining a robust control environment.
- Stay informed about Middle East regulatory developments affecting the role.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with 4–6 years of industry experience.
- Experience in an international multi-site business, including exposure to FX transactions.
- Experience supporting local GAAP financial statement preparation.
- Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with global ERP systems such as SAP.
- VAT preparation, review, and submission experience is ideal; training is provided.
- Professional services industry experience is desirable.
- Able to meet deadlines, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and handle large data sets and detailed manual processes.
