Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, notes, MFRP, and other contracted fund information.
The role requires investment fund knowledge and familiarity with fund reporting requirements including NI 81-106 and IFRS.
Prioritize and manage workload to meet client service-level agreements and deliver high-quality client service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare interim and annual financial statements and supporting packages accurately and on time.
- Complete month-end and other financial reporting work for clients.
- Assist senior staff with external audits, client reporting issues, special requests, and internal control documentation and review.
- Proofread final financial statements; participate in projects and team activities; stay current on fund accounting and securities.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
- Enrolment in a professional designation program is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge; investment fund accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Invest One fund accounting system and Confluence experience is an asset.
Compensation
- The stated salary band is $52,000 to $78,000; the posting does not specify a pay period.
- Individual pay depends on job-related skills, market conditions, experience, education, training, and internal equity.
